After living in Houston, Texas for most of our lives, my wife and I decided to move to the Texas Hill Country. The hills, rivers, and climate were calling. We decided to move to the Kerrville area. I had worked for the same residential real estate company in Houston for 20 years. In 2002, I came to work with McCollom & Associates Realtors, one of the most experienced and respected companies in the area. John McCollom had been in the ranch sales business since 1962.

 

Since joining McCollom, I have specialized in the marketing and sales of recreation ranches, hunting ranches, river homes and quality city homes. I have sold everything from rugged ranch properties to high end golf course homes.

 

My philosophy in real estate is truthfulness between all parties. In the old days the handshake was all it took. Now it is a little more involved, but you still take a man, or woman, at their word. In any transaction, I will give you my opinion, but I will not pressure you for a decision. I feel that is very important that you stay in communication with your sellers or buyers, even if you have no news or bad news.

 

In my 28 years in the real estate profession I have functioned as a Sales Agent/Broker, Sales Manager, Office Manager, and VP of Human Resources for a real estate company with 100 employees and 300 sales people. I was also a Banker for 10 years and I owned my own wholesale/retail business for 8 years.
